HOW DID POUR DECISIONS COME ABOUT?
Kristi & Kelly are best friends, next door neighbors & bonded immediately over wine when they met in 2016. In late 2018, Pour Decisions Wine Society started as a fun way to get our group of friends (who love wine) together once a month and try new wines. We all have kids around the same age, we live in the same neighborhood, & we carved out this once a month time to get together & catch up, which is sometimes tough with the hustle & bustle of daily activities. Our monthly meet ups grew & drew more & more attention as we told others about our weekend plans. We quickly realized we had a real business here that appealed to more than just our crew.
After months of going back and forth on design and concept, product development, beta test groups, building a faithful online presence and following, we are now moving toward launching our game on the open market & crowdsourcing by year-end. Our little dream is coming to fruition! We would like to thank all of our supporters, beta testers, family friends who've encouraged us to pursue this! Thank you!

Favorite Wine: Stags' Leap Chardonnay (make sure you know which side the apostrophe goes - it makes a difference)

Favorite meal: Cheese pizza and French fries (well done)

Early bird or night owl: night owl! You will find me watching Snapped late at night. I absolutely hate mornings and making school lunches. You'll find me in the school drop off line in my pj's.

What excites you about wine?: the pop of the cork and first sip of a new wine.
​
Favorite place to enjoy a glass or bottle: Sitting around the kitchen island or in the backyard. Anywhere good friends are. I'm not picky.

Favorite snack with wine: pretzels or popcorn

Favorite wine region: California wines are my favorite. I always went after Napa Valley wines until Kristi introduced me to Lodi!
Hobbies: reading, crafting, and knitting. I collect cookie jars and Pez dispensers. I'm a tv junky - love me some Grey's Anatomy and General Hospital!
Family life: Wife to Luigi for 13 years. Stay at home mom to 2 girls. I spend most of my time leading 2 Girl Scout troops and counting endless box tops for the school PTO.

Hometown: born and raised in Bethlehem, PA. I've called Texas home for the past 10 years.
Hobbies: all things food. I love to cook, read cookbooks, and I recently completed my nutrition certification. I'm obsessed with my Peloton. I also can't get enough of podcasts.

Family life: Wife to Ryan for 10 years and mama to a boy and girl. Girl Scout leader, taxi driver to kid activities in the evening, and big advocate for family dinners together at the table chatting about our day.

Hometown: born and raised in sunny San Diego, CA. I became a Texan in 2016 and we absolutely love it!

Favorite Wine: I am a HUGE fan of jammy and bold Zin's and absolutely ANYTHING by Michael David (my favorite winery)

Favorite meal: anything with avocado. Though I do love a filet mignon and steamed artichoke.

Early bird or night owl: Definitely an early bird! I start most days at 4:30 a.m. with a workout, 2 cups of coffee and scrambling to pack lunches and get kids up before battling Houston traffic to downtown where I work in the legal field.

What excites you about wine?: the aroma, the color and the moment you taste it and just melt.
​
Favorite place to enjoy a glass or bottle: Outdoors on a nice evening, relaxing and enjoying time with others.

Favorite snack with wine: charcuterie board of cheeses, meats, fruits and nuts.

Favorite wine region: Central and Northern California, but not Napa. I love wines from Lodi, El Dorado County, or Solvang/Los Olivos/Santa Barbara. Still a California girl at heart.
